We can, We will and We do

in2Dredging took on the challenge of developing an innovative model to estimate the extent of turbidity plumes and predict their deposition footprint.  And we succeeded, all within a short timeframe and on a shoestring budget!

Most projects that involve placing dredged material underwater require plume modelling to estimate the influenced area.  Traditionally, hydrodynamic models are used to obtain these estimates. Such estimates are based on expensive to setup high-performing computational fluid dynamic models.

in2Dredging, on the other hand, has delivered a new model by passionately investing in its new innovative Rapid Plume Modelling (RPM) tool. RPM is more cost effective than the traditional computational fluid dynamic models whilst still providing comparable fit-for-purpose results.
