Last weekend, in2Dredging (i2D) proudly took part in The Rotary Tour of the Blackwood 2025 in beautiful Bridgetown, Western Australia. This inspiring annual cycling event raises much-needed funds to support mental health services in the Blackwood region. This year, it made a big impact, with approximately $70,000 raised thanks to the incredible efforts of participants and sponsors.
The event offers several ride options through the stunning hills and valleys of the South West, including the Full Tour (130 km), the Half n Best (65 km), and the Not-So-Cozy (30 km). It also featured the very first edition of the Numbat Gravel Experience, which attracted gravel-riding enthusiasts from across the state. This year, i2D assembled our largest cycling team yet, with 3 team members completing the full tour and 8 others riding the half or best distances. The camaraderie and team spirit on display were a testament to our culture of encouragement and shared success.
At i2D, we strongly believe that a healthy work-life balance is key to long-term success — in the office and beyond. Events like The Rotary Tour of the Blackwood not only encourage our team to stay physically active through training and enjoy the great outdoors but also help raise awareness and support for mental health, a cause we wholeheartedly support.
We’re proud to have been part of this fantastic initiative again and look forward to many more tours in the future. And next year, we’re hoping to grow our participation even further — especially by expanding our ladies’ team!
A huge thank you to the organisers, volunteers, and fellow cyclists who made the day so special.
